Phishing Exists Beyond Instagram
The same tactics appear everywhere:
- Gmail account alerts,
- WhatsApp verification messages,
- bank fraud warnings,
- delivery scams,
- marketplace payment lures.
The important lesson
Do not memorize one brand-specific scam. Learn the pattern:
- pressure,
- fake trust,
- external link,
- credential request.
If you can recognize the pattern, you can defend yourself on every platform.
Why this is useful
Once you stop thinking in brand names and start thinking in attacker patterns, new scams become easier to classify.
That is a real upgrade in judgment, not just a list of examples.
